IMAX Indy: Adopt A Seat

IMAX Indy just got cozier - new seats are on the way in 2026!

Next time you visit our lobby, we invite you to try out our new seats. They are larger, more comfortable with more robust back support and feature movable armrests.

While you try out our new theater seats in the lobby, consider adopting your own by donating $350. All funds will go towards the purchase and upkeep of these new seats and future auditorium enhancements.

To say thank you for your donation, you will receive your own personal nameplate on the back of a seat inside the theater, four free tickets to be redeemed in 2026, an invite for you and a guest to an adopters-only private screening, and your name on an on-screen slide thanking all of our seat adopters! That's a value of over $120.

You can select the exact seat you'd like to adopt! But please note, adopting that seat does not guarantee you access to that seat for future shows.

To donate, please follow the checkout process below. It will look familiar - it's the same as buying a ticket to a movie at our theater! Only this time, the date and time available is the final day of our seat install. This date is NOT the private adopters-only screening. Information on this special event, your four free tickets, and the text you would like to appear on your nameplate will be sent once the drive ends.
